A creative based in Toronto, passionate about creating an impact on the world around me.
A lifelong learner with three years of experience in marketing, sales and team management. I am a self-driven, reliable and creative individual who is passionate about creating a positive impact through human-centered design and purposeful storytelling. I seek challenging environments outside of my comfort zone to continuously learn and expand my thinking.
In the Fall of 2022 after completing a UX Design diploma, I had the tools and skills to launch services that includes UX/UI design, graphic design, brand development and marketing expertise.
After working on the local and regional level for two years, I had the opportunity to join AIESEC Canada's national team to spearhead and lead the organization across 25 local branches. I was responsible for all business to customer activity and initiating new projects to meet our organization's goals. By the end of my term, Canada won the excellence award presented by AIESEC International.
As support to the national team, I was responsible for managing and increasing the sales activity in 5 local branches. I worked directly with leaders at those branches to plan their goals, strategize how to achieve them and coach them on team management.
AIESEC Canada typically has 4-5 internal conferences a year, and I had the opportunity to host one for our local branch. I led a small team of three to put together the three-day event and invite external B2B partners to get involved as well. With the success we had in sponsorships, we were able to host the conference free of charge to our delegates, enabling us to support their leadership development.
With experience gained as a Director of Global Talent, I moved up as VP where I focused on scaling up our most popular product, Global Volunteer. I managed a bigger team and collaborated with entities internationally to facilitate our exchanges. By the end of my term, we achieved 33% YOY growth in our biggest product.
Upon joining the organization, I started with an associate position and quickly moved up to Director of Global Talent. As the first leadership role, I managed a small team of three to focus on selling our Global Talent program to potential customers. It was a new product for us, so we paved the way by finding the right target market and sales strategies. By the end of my term, our team achieved 133% YOY growth in sales.
As a part of the Creative Industries program, I had the opportunity to gain hands on experience in a creative field, more specifically the music industry. I had the chance to see the behind the scenes work that goes on for artists and how to work with creative individuals, whilst managing the business side of it.
At Ryerson University, I had the opportunity to complete a summer internship in Indonesia. During this transformative summer, I was able to kickstart my career and get a taste of the potential impact I can have on the world around me. Upon returning to Canada, I joined AIESEC Canada to challenge myself, develop my skills and do work that I was passionate about.
